DD WYOUBLUDOCGRANITE, better known as Groot, is a 2022 AQHA gelding standing 14.2 hands. Don’t let his age fool you, this young gelding has already acquired the kind of practical experience that takes many horses years to develop. Groot combines a genuinely kind disposition with a solid work ethic and the versatility to be enjoyed both in and out of the arena.
If spending the day horseback and exploring new country is your idea of time well spent, Groot will be right up your alley. He is an exceptional trail horse who travels willingly wherever he’s directed, confidently navigating different terrain and making the ride enjoyable for whoever is in the saddle. His background includes genuine ranch work, where he’s been used to gather cattle and doctor them outside. He’s also familiar with the hustle and bustle of the stockyards, giving him valuable exposure to busy environments and the everyday demands of working cattle. In addition to his ranch experience, Groot has been started on the heel side, offering a great opportunity for someone interested in furthering his education in the roping pen.
One of Groot’s greatest attributes is his personality. He’s the first to welcome your attention, easy to catch, and has a naturally friendly demeanor that makes him a pleasure to spend time with. His uncomplicated way of going and forgiving attitude make him a suitable candidate for most levels of riders, while his ability and experience offer plenty for a more accomplished horseman to appreciate. Groot is a well-rounded young gelding with a lot to offer, whether his future consists of leisurely trail rides, long days on the ranch, or continued development as a rope horse.
