Introducing “Cadi”, a 2016 APHA registered mare standing at 14.3 hands. This sweet and gentle mare is bred for success under saddle. She is a granddaughter of both NRHA money earners Wimpys Little Step and Spooks Gotta Gun. Cadi carries excellent bloodlines with an outstanding temperament to match.
Cadi earned her name the very first time I rode her when I was blown away by how smooth her gaits are. My exact words were “She feels like a brand new Cadillac!”. She is so easy to ride and boasts one of the smoothest trots I’ve ever had the pleasure of riding. Cadi moves nicely through walk, trot, lope with easy and smooth transitions. She has a great stop and slow, correct turn arounds. Cadi’s kind and willing attitude makes her suitable for a variety of riders whether you’d just like something safe and gentle to trail ride on or you’re looking to refine your skills in the arena and show pen. Cadi is talented and has potential for many disciplines from trail riding, to English hunters, to Ranch Riding, or even a rideable broodmare with excellent lines. This pretty mare can take you there. Cadi is very soft in the mouth making her very easy to bend and flex and listens excellently to leg and seat pressure making her super easy to ride on a loose rein. She is very smart and picks new things up easily, without a fight. She is a very teachable mare and seems to genuinely enjoy her time under saddle.
Cadi stands very nicely to be tied at home and at other facilities. She stands nicely to be groomed, saddled, bathed, and blanketed. Cadi gets along well with other horses in the pasture and seems to sit at the middle/bottom of the herd. She is currently stalled at night and turned out during the day, her favorite place is outside but does just fine in a stall. Cadi is fine with other horses or by herself whether that is a living situation or while you’re riding. She does not call for other horses when you take her away or can ride in a large group of horses just as well.
Cadi has recently been seen by our facilities farrier, dentist, chiropractor, and veterinarian. She was an excellent citizen for all of our professionals and is always such a great mare to handle. She loads and unloads from the trailer very nicely and travels well. This mare is really just the most perfect, pretty little package who will be a great addition to any barn.
