Respectable ground manners, stands to be mounted from the ground, mounting blocks and fences. Ties, bathes and hauls well. Has always been barefoot with solid feet and stands well for farrier. Sky currently lives in a pasture with herd mates and is in the middle of the herd order. He has an average in your pocket gelding personality. No health issues or soundness issues. Teeth & shots done in April 2025.
Sky has top-level training and a heart of gold. He is the perfect fit for someone looking for a reliable and talented partner. Incredibly smooth, stable and steady gaits. Sky is consistent in the bridle with steady contact while also relaxed and secure on a loose rein. Various riders have worked with him ranging from beginner youth and adults to experienced western/english trainers. Sky side passes, yields on the haunches and forehand, closes/opens gates and leg yields. Sky is currently jumping 2'6 and is very straightforward without refusals.
He excels on trails, in the ring, and on obstacle courses. Sky brings versatility to everything he does. He spanish walks, stands on a pedestal, lays down on command, goes through drive throughs, has had basketball played on him and many other random activities.
Sky's show experience includes dressage, western dressage, ranch riding, and jumping shows. His incredible temperament and training makes him ready to follow you and your family any direction.
