Really nice mare for somebody looking for a project on a budget, now available in Ocala, FL near the Florida Horse Park:
Passionate Girl, aka "Jelly Bean" is a lovely 11 year old, 16.2 hh OTTB mare with loads of potential. She has successfully competed through training level eventing with her previous owner, and is confident to fences. She is a lovely mover with an all around great work ethic. On the ground, she is a proper lady. She stands for the vet and farrier, and to be clipped and bathed. She is barefoot all around She had to have some time off due to her previous owner's health issues, and during that time, in 2023, she foaled an Irish sport horse filly.
While I have owned her, she schooled Novice/ Training cross country with my YR student. She is a forward ride, and she will carry you to fences. She can be a little quirky, but let's be honest, who isn't? She can be a bit of a hot tamale, but nothing dangerous, and no spook. I see her doing well continuing in the eventer ring or venturing into the jumper world with a confident rider who wants a talented project without a ton of money to burn.
