Jack has been my wonderful companion these past 10 years. I bought him as an unbroke 9 year old. He has had one prior owner. Jack is a beautiful, kind, sensitive, protective, caring, strong and loyal gelding. This faithful man has always been my number one go to boy and very helpful in training some of our youngsters on the farm. We primarily trail ride him...he's been a great caretaker to many young and novice riders. Jack would be a great lesson horse. He can go western or English. Jack is excellent on the trails...he's very confident and will cross any obstacle willingly. He is happy to lead or follow and gets along well with all other horses. He loads, ties and is good for the farrier. Jack has an irregularity on his LF pastern bone which causes a slight limp at the trot...we've been working with the vet on strategies to help with this. He is a wonderful fast walker and is very happy at this pace and is never poky. He loves to ride out and has amazing endurance! I am only looking to rehome Jack as we are selling our property and relocating. He is a very special boy and I'll be particular about his new home - but he's SO worth it! Jack is truly one of a kind and an absolute treasure as a companion. He has absolutely no nasty vices but would need a confident handler around. Jack has amazing mustang feet - he's like a Billy goat...I ride him barefoot and generally bitless. He has had a recent check up with his vet to get teeth floated, vaccinations and blood work. Please contact me with any questions...I'd love to tell you more :-)
