Southern Filly is a beautiful, sweet, and lovable 5-year old mare with a good mind. She has been trained in a foundation for Reining/Ranch Riding and Ranch Trail.
She can respond to a rider’s seat while on a loose rein, changing gaits or stopping based on seat cues.
Southern Filly is push-style and not hot-blooded which is great for western performance events or trail riding.
She stands calmly for mounting from either side using a mounting block or fence rail, and is trained to wait for the rider’s cue to walk off.
Outside the arena, Southern Filly continues to listen to the rider’s seat and cues. She can be ridden alone—away from the barn or other horses—without trying to hurry back home. She has also been hauled off the property a few times and trail ridden with some exposure to light car traffic.
