BIG and BEAUTIFUL best describes our 6 yr old 15.1 hand gelding Chex. He’s the one you walk by and go WOW!! This gentle boy is cruising into his heading career with ease. He stands quiet in the box and has plenty of speed. We are roping both ends but mostly heading on him due to his size. Chex doesn’t get worked up about anything, he’s very laid back and is one is one of those that is willing to do whatever you ask of him and go where you point him. Not only does he rope both ends but he will lay down on cue, sit up, pack tarps, crosses water and rides outside on the trails. He’s had guns shot off of him, bull whips cracked over him and has been exposed to loud machinery and vehicles along with many dogs running around him. Whether you’re looking for a Ranch Horse, Rope Horse, Ranch Trail or Versatility Horse, Chex is one to check out. Chex will load and unload with ease and hauls great. Inside the arena or out in the big pastures, this smooth riding boy remains quiet and good minded. Chex can go out and gather cattle and not worry about leaving the other horses or heading back to the barn, he has a calm demeanor about him which makes him a favorite. He has a smooth lope, knows his leads and will stand when you mount. You can lay him off and he’s the same horse. Bathing him is a breeze and he lets you spray his face to keep his forelock clean and white! He is always a gentle to handle when shoeing, loading, bathing and saddling. He doesn’t care if it’s a mare or stud tied next to him, he is all business. Most anyone can get along with him because of his laid back attitude and willingness to do what you ask.
