I'm a farmer looking to find a good home for a horse I've raised and cared for deeply. This horse is healthy, well-behaved, and friendly, not just an animal to me, but a companion. This decision isn’t easy, so I’m looking for someone serious, committed, and experienced. About the Horse: Calm temperament Great around people Healthy and well-fed Used to open fields and daily attention Doc is a beautiful, registered Racking gelding standing around 15hh and 4 years old. He is everything one could want in a horse! Doc has a super smooth, effortless 4-beat gait, Hollywood good looks, and that amazing cowboy color. He’s super gentle and quiet, too. Doc is perfect for the whole family. Safe enough for grandma and grandpa, and gentle enough for anyone. He has trail-ridden countless miles and been on multiple overnight camping trips. He has crossed busy highways, led the pack, and followed behind, whether in big groups or small. Doc has been trail-ridden throughout Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Tennessee. He handles steep slopes, crosses water, logs, mud, and ditches with ease. He’s easy to ride and truly a joy to be around. He’s also easy to catch, clip, bathe, tack up, load, and handle. Doc has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife, including deer and turkey, as well as cows, dogs, and more. He will go anywhere he’s asked and always has a great attitude about whatever he’s doing. Why I’m Selling: This sale is to help fund an urgent surgery. It’s not a decision made lightly, and I truly hope he finds a home where he’s loved just as much. Please Read Before Contacting Me: I’ll be asking a few questions and laying some conditions before arranging a visit. I want to ensure this is a good fit for you and the horse. I offer a 7-day trial period. If things don’t work out, you can return the horse, but you must cover the return transport. This horse is being sold as-is, but I’m open to fair questions and honest conversation. I truly want the best for this animal. If you're a responsible and loving new owner, I’d love to hear from you. Please include a brief description of yourself and your horse experience when reaching out. Email: Stilwelljulie.k@gmail.com
