Cowboy is a beautiful, gentle gelding standing at 15.3 hands with training in several disciplines. He has been to horse shows, team roping jackpots, and used on the ranch. His sire, Yellow Jersey, is a past NRHA Futurity and Derby winner with LTE of over $150,000. Cowboy was well started and received training to be a reiner, making him soft in the face and ribcage. In addition to being able to change leads on the fly, come to a sliding stop, and spin, he has been in rope horse training for over a year. He is excelling as a heel horse and confidently coming along as a head horse. Cowboy has been to several jackpots and would fit a low number roper. In addition to head/heel horse training, he has been started in the breakaway. You can rope on him one day and be competitive in a pleasure class the next day. He has been shown at the junior level in western pleasure, ranch riding, and reining. Cowboy is confident when moving cattle, dragging calves to the fire, and doctoring. This family friendly horse will ride on a trail and cross water too. He is good to be around with a kind personality. We feel he would be a good fit for a rider age 8 and up.
