2014 15.2+ hd Thoroughbred gelding. This horse has quickly become one of my favorite horses in training. Seamus is such a fantastic guy. His progress the past 3 months he's been with me in Texas has far exceeded my expectations. This horse has so much untapped potential and is ready to find his soul mate. Seamus has LOW miles. He raced just a few times then lived in a pasture til he was 7 years old. Owned by an adult amateur who has done most the training with him with the exception of a couple months he spent in training with Andrea Baxter on the west coast. Seamus has TONS of scope and the heart of a lion. This horse will jump anything you put in front of him. He has a big stride for a smaller horse and has no problem making distances. Seamus has great lead changes and is a very careful jumper. He has schooled cross country and trail courses in California. Seamus is typically a forward ride, but he's also a horse you can put your leg on and is typically the same guy every day. He will thrive with a sympathetic rider who has educated hands. Seamus is NOT spooky and has never once bucked or reared or made me feel uneasy at any time. I consider him very safe under saddle. He can get a little anxious in the cross ties when he's alone, but does not put himself in danger. He loads, ties, bathes, great for the Farrier and is very sound. Currently in front shoes only. He is very sound and we have xrays on file. Seamus currently lives in a 5 acre pasture with a herd that he gets along famously with. I think Seamus would kill it in the jumper ring and with a little more dressage education and strength building could be a super fun 3 day event horse. This horse is truly loved by his owner and now myself and finding him the perfect match is a top priority!
