Haven’s Wild Card - 2022 5-Gaited Registered American Saddlebred Gelding
“Cassian” is the epitome of an in your pocket gelding. First to meet you at the gate and loves bonding with his person. Great ground manners, ties, cross-ties and bathes, very easy to load and haul. Up to date on vaccinations, de-worming and farrier. Had his teeth checked when gelded in 2024. Cassian has had 20+ rides on him and has a wonderfully calm and level headed disposition. He’s never done anything silly under saddle and would be a fun project to finish out how you want. He naturally gaits and will make a very smooth trail horse if you want to develop that.
He is impeccably well bred. His sire has been gelded and is being shown in saddleseat by a child and his dam is actively competing in endurance, having completed multiple 50-mile rides. I’ve ridden with his dam and she’s one of my favorites. Pics of sire below.
I hate to see this guy go and I had planned to use him as my next endurance partner but I have too many horses and too many young kids. I think he would excel in endurance or most sporthorse disciplines or make a great amateur/youth horse with more time and experience.
