Nova is a very pretty 6-year-old registered Spotted Draft Clydesdale X mare. She stands at 16 hands and stands out with her solid, stout build. Nova is a very friendly horse and is used to being around many different animals and loves attention from people. She stands to be groomed and bathed and is great for vet and farrier. Everybody loves her.

Nova is an easy to ride horse, especially considering how big and stout she is and will tolerate a mistake from a greener rider. She is a lot of fun to ride. Nova is a safe horse and has not shown to be afraid of anything we brought to her such as dogs, cars, atvs, tarps, umbrellas, poles, cattle, … you name it. She is a very kind, honest and trusting horse with a great disposition and is looking to bond with her owner.

Nova has a lot of potential in the ring. She has an elegant stride and her gaits are very comfortable to sit to. She has a lot of potential for the show ring with more training. She moves off your leg easily and is willing to go to work. She would also be suitable for a vaulting program as she has had very basic pre-vaulting training exposure as shown in the video. We have ridden her bareback or in just a halter, western or English tack. Nova is also broke to drive and will therefore listen to any voice command excellently.

Nova also loves trail riding and has been used around the ranch to check cattle. You can open and close all your gates and she will ride out alone or with others and will go wherever you point her, across fields with cattle, up and down hills, passed machinery, through water without batting an eye, always moving forward ready to please.

Nova is overall a very respectful and well-behaved horse. She is willing to do anything she is asked. Her sweet personality will make her bond easily with her new owner and she would make a great addition to any family. Nova will stand tied all day if you ask her to and she stands to mount from the ground or at the mounting block for you to mount from either side.
