This gorgeous buckskin paint APHA gelding is looking for his next riding partner! Zion has been well started under saddle and has competed in a few western dressage competitions. He has been used as an all-around trail and pleasure riding gelding, including doing some obstacle work and is familiar with having a rope thrown off of him. I have owned this gelding since he was yearling and he has always had an incredibly calm personality and takes everything in stride. He is easy to catch, groom, lead, lunge, and loads and hauls in the trailer well.

Zion is 100% sound, goes barefoot and has had no health issues. He has had some time off over the past couple years while I had a baby, but always comes back to work with a quiet mind. This gelding still needs a confident and experienced rider to log more miles and give him more experience out in the world. He has a beautiful walk, trot and canter but stills need some help getting the correct leads 100% of the time. With some consistency he has the potential to be an absolute dream horse for the right partner! Everyone who meets this gelding in person just loves him.

Zion is sired by the late QTS Gold Mastercard, an APHA reining stallion that has some beautiful babies now being very successful in the reining and ranch riding world. He is a half brother to APHA stallion SHR QTS Diamond Cutter that is carrying on this great bloodline. At just seven years old this gelding has a bright future ahead of him!
