Chanel is a 16 year old 14.3 hand mare. We are selling her as a project horse. She needs someone to give her lots of time and hands on daily work. We rescued her from someone that left her out in a field did very little with her and she was allowed to be in the boss. When we brought her home she was extremely over weight and had laminitis. When the vet came they said she would not have made it through the summer. Because of that she is not a horse that you can put out in a field unless you put a grazing muzzle on her and only for short periods of time. She is a very smart horse and loves to learn tricks on ground. We have taught her to do a fist bump, kick her left and right foot on command, and bow. She also does great with liberty work. She just needs someone that has the time and is more stubborn than her. If you have any questions we are willing to answer I will be completely honest do t want her to end up in a bad spot she really deserves someone who will love on her and giver time. My daughter is doing college and doesn’t have the time right now to put into her.
