Dillon is a gorgeous 6 year old Irish Draught Sport Horse. His dam is 1/2 Irish Draught and 1/2 thoroughbred. Her sire is the Irish Rover, the first Irish Draught stallion to be imported to the US in the 1990s. There is a video of him on YouTube. Just search Irish Rover stallion to view Dillons maternal grandsire you will see the resemblance of the Irish Rover in Dillon. Dillon's sire is Roman Aris he is registered under ApHc. We have had Dillon since he was 4 months old. Dillon is super personable and loves people and attention. He is a well-rounded gelding. He is currently being professionally trained in western and will be transitioning also into English. He has a solid foundation and could go in many directions. Dillon has the talent and movement to be in the show ring, or make a very nice future trail horse. He has great transitions and smooth lead departures. Dillon is a very pretty mover with a lot of forward drive. He bathes, loads, clips, and is good for the farrier. Dillon displays a lot of the Irish Draught personality and characteristics of kindness. He is a very special boy and we are looking for a home for him that is equally as special as he is.
