Claire is a bay, measured at 14 hands, refined in appearance, mare purchased through a rescue in 2023. She has been used primarily to drive, with some riding by adults. She has lovely conformation, appears to be either Welsh or another fine breed with a beautifully balanced body, strong hooves, well mannered, (but can be hard to catch in large pasture ) stands for bathing, farrier, and veterinarian. Her ground manners are great with good work ethic. She trailer loads easily, went camping overnight, is good in traffic and around farm machinery, she pastures with another mare and a cow, and is familiar with farm pigs. She is an easy keeper on pasture and hay. She maintains a good weight without getting obese. She is head mare at the farm, but second in command with my friend’s mares. She will be up-to-date on vaccines and Coggins before sold. Current owner is an intermediate to experienced adult, and it is unknown if children ever owned her.
