Bruno is a 12 yo GRADE qh gelding. Standing about 15-15.1 I need to tape, and a solid 1200 ish pounds. He is heavy made, built to last! He’s got the kindest eyes, the softest demeanor, and every other look to count! This horse is the smoothest, comfortable, easy ride. The videos that you will see are at a place that is a 2 hour haul from me, he has never seen it until these videos, hauled there, saddled up and rode. Bruno handled the trail course at ease, he does not bat an eye at anything. He went over the bridges, tarps, over plastic garbage, logs, thru pool noodles, flags, down ditches, etc. NO SPOOK. wherever you ask this horse to go he will, so be sure if you’re going to ask him to jump off a cliff, that’s what you mean! lol. Bruno is a WOAH horse, he does not have a lot of speed. This is a horse you need spurs on and need to know how to ask to move. The best way I can describe him is he’s a broke mans knock of reining horse.. he’s got a pretty low head set, super super soft in the face, huge stop. Doesn’t have the fancy spins and lead changes, but who needs that anyways! Bruno was previously used out on a ranch gathering and checking cattle, he is way more free moving in a huge field, however he is still not a speed freak. His ideal home would be someone who wants to trail ride or do some obstacle courses, mounted patrol, maybe someone who wants to do slow arena work and look fancy while learning. Absolutely anyone would be safe on this horse. He has no buck bolt rear. And again if you are not asking him to move with intent he is not going to do anything without being asked! I wouldn’t consider him a brand new beginner horse, unless they know how to be very very soft with their hands. Any pressure and this horse will drop his head and slam his ass into the ground. He is very soft in the face. Does that mean it’s bad for a beginner to learn that ? No. But they need to be ready for it so they don’t end up on his neck! Lol. Bruno picks up his leads, with ease. Direct reins, he is not a neck Reiner. Easy easy keeper. No known health issues, hauls great, stands tied, saddles, fly sprays, bathes, etc. He wears a front set of shoes, he does have some old barb wire cuts on his back legs, they are cosmetic, have not bothered him in any way still moves out very fluid and sound to my best knowledge, will more than likely not be noticeable once the hair grows back! He’s not bad on fences or in a stall, unfortunately he just somehow found some. He still picks them up with a little worrisome, but in no way mean, he just wonders why barbwire attacked him when he’s so nice. This is a whole lot of horse, with a whole lot of try and love. You will not be disappointed. I enjoy owning him, you will too. Located in valley springs ca. 925-783-8655.
