If your looking for a Barrel horse, Dash is not beginner safe on the patterns. He is strong on the pattern and needs experienced rider.
If your looking for a nice riding horse, Off pattern He is a joy to be around and super quiet. Never offered to buck, rear or kick. He's been on the pattern for 3 years but would also make a nice riding horse. I just want this guy to find a loving home. He would make a great 4h project horse for a youth looking to teach him Ranch or Trail. Im a rusty old rider and he is fantastic with me.
We purchased him 3 years ago as a step up barrel horse but has proven himself to be more horse than my daughter can handle. He has been on the pattern and taken to local jackpots and contested in barrels, poles, keyhole and stakes at County Fair 2023 and 2024
They have grown as a team and have been very successful but this horse needs a seasoned rider on the patterns. There is nothing I dont like about this horse.
Dash is quiet and minds his own business. Very low on pecking order.
He travels, loads, ties, bathes quietly. He rides nice indoor/oudoor doesnt really care about anything but doing what he is asked and being done. He doesnt get hot in the alley.
Dash has occellets on both front ankles. Most likely from early exessive training on the track.
In the 3 years we have had him, the only lameness issue we had was an abscess in his RF hoof at the coronet band and has since been sound and solid.
He is on Sentinal senior feed and free choice hay with24/7 turnout on pasture. set up a visit and come try him. Willing to set up multiple rides to be sure hes a good fit.
