“Casino” is a 7yr old, 15.2hh, blanket Appaloosa gelding. He is the kind of partner you dream about - beautiful, classy, personable, dependable and always ready for the next adventure! Casino rides English, western and bareback. His safe and consistent nature makes him suitable for a novice rider while having the bells and whistles for a more advanced rider to enjoy!

In the arena, Casino is very well broke and educated! His gaits are slow, smooth and collected. He rides on the buckle or with contact and is very soft in his face! He knows his leads, stops, backs up, side passes and pivots. Casino has given the kid’s lessons and is the same horse every time! He rides like a hunter under English tack and is honest over fences! I have recently started schooling him over a cross country course and he takes to it like a natural!

Outside of the ring, Casino LOVES to trail ride! He is brave, willing and honest and loves to see new places! He has the stamina to do the long weekend trail rides or is just as happy to do a short evening sunset hack around the farm! Casino is very confident on the trails and takes care of his rider! He loads and hauls like a dream and is always ready to go! He is so use to trailering out, he always stands perfectly quiet at new places! Casino is traffic safe and has been exposed to all kinds of terrain, obstacles, carries the flag, plays ball with the kids and even tolerates smoke cannons shooting off his back! Nothing rattles this guy!

At home, he is clean and quiet in a stall and can be left in the barn alone or with other horses. He is not buddy or barn sour! He is submissive in a herd and gets along with everyone! He is easy on his turnout gear, wearing a fly mask and fly sheet in the warmer months and a medium weight blanket in the winter! Casino LOVES to be groomed and doted on, he will literally fall asleep while braiding his mane! He is quiet and gentle enough for children to groom and love on! He doesn’t mind dogs or children running around and stands quietly anywhere! He is excellent for the farrier and is on a consistent 6 week schedule wearing all four shoes. He is also very well mannered for the vet and is up to date on all his vaccines and deworming!

Overall, Casino is one of the nicest horses I have ever had the pleasure to own, but the truth is I simply cannot keep them all. He deserves to go to a home where he will be loved and cherished til his last breath. A horse like Casino is what so many people are after, but very few find. He is truly that special.
