Stetson has primarily been used as a barrel/playday horse and ridden by my 10yr old daughter. Stetson is UTD on teeth, vaccines, worming. Gets shod every 6-8 weeks. Trailers well, bathes, and clips. He can go all day and never get tired. Youth safe but must be a confident rider. He would excel in dressage or jumping as he has beautiful movement, collects nicely and has a big stride. We were given a lesson in Western Dressage before fair and he looked beautiful doing it. Stetson is more of a one discipline type of horse as my daughter has started 4-h this year and he is not happy doing all the things my daughter wants to be involved in. He has never bucked, bit or kicked. He does get nervous trying new things but has never done anything bad and my daughter is able to work him through it. I have only ever ridden him twice in the 3 years we have owned him. Our daughter is wanting to be involved in multiple disciplines and this is why we are offering him, mentally he can't handle it and he does not like slowing down for equitation type stuff. He would do great for an adult or child who is only involved in 1 discipline. Please call or text for videos/pictures.
