Skye has been raised and nurtured in a small herd environment alongside her mother, two aunts, and a same-aged sister on a working horse powered farm. She's been handled daily since birth, is first at the gate, comes to people when in pasture, and wants so much to be the chosen one. Skye is mild mannered and very even tempered. She is cooperative, curious, confident, and interested to try new things. She's going to be a big strong horse, likely to mature to 17 hands plus, and in the 1900 pound range. She has a nice long stride, is energetic, and already quite powerful. Skye was bred and is built to be a work horse. Her sire is an old-style Percheron, registered with the PHAoA, and evaluated and registered by the American Brabant Association as approved breeding stock. Her maternal great grandsire is a registered European Belgian import horse, and her dam has been evaluated and registered by the ABA as approved breeding stock. Skye's dam conceives readily, foals easily, and is a wonderful mother. Skye has the mind, temperament and exposure to get started and go to work easily; the strength and calm for field work; the beauty, style and calm for carriage work; and the physique to carry a sizeable rider in a number of disciplines. She has a strong square frame, good bone, good muscle, and excellent hoof quality. She stands upright and moves straight. She wants to do with, and is ready to partner. The right home for this special filly is most important. She is up to date with vaccinations and coggins test.
