Rex is a stunning 7-year-old AQHA gelding and a grandson of the legendary Nu Chex to Cash—an NRHA Hall of Fame inductee, $3 Million sire, and multiple World Champion/World Champion Sire. He’s every bit the real-life Barbie dream horse with looks that turn heads wherever he goes.
Over the past year and a half, Rex has been in consistent work with a natural horsemanship trainer. He has a solid foundation and a good mind, but he remains green and needs a confident, experienced trainer to help him reach his full potential.
Rex was greener than represented when I purchased him and has proven to be more horse than I am ready to handle. Because of this, I am seeking a more suitable situation for his growth and well-being. He is not appropriate for a lesson program or novice rider.
Rex is highly sensitive to cues both on the ground and under saddle. He’s smart, curious, and genuinely wants to please—though his willingness can sometimes come across as nervous energy. In the right hands, this sensitivity will be an asset.

• Rex is a cribber, though it’s very manageable. He does not require a collar, and it hasn’t impacted his health or appetite.
• He needs a professional or very experienced rider/trainer to guide him further.
