Banjo’s first birthday is coming up, and he is ready to start the next chapter of his life- with you! This gorgeous gelding is a cross between the sweetest, most trustworthy AQHA registered mare, and a striking Gypsy Horse stallion. Banjo has been handled daily since birth, and he is loves being around people; he nickers a greeting when he sees someone approaching his pen. He is up to date on vaccinations and has always had his feet trimmed regularly. He is great for the farrier and vet, and has a laid back, easygoing personality. He loves people, is great with all different types of farm animals and doesn’t seem to spook or be bothered by anything. He is happy to lead and loads in the trailer, stands tied, bathes, wears a fly mask and accepts being sprayed for flies. He likes to go places, and gets excited when he sees the trailer getting hooked up. He doesn’t mind being stalled next to other horses, and has excellent manners. He is the type of horse that is going to get you noticed, whether it's in the show ring, riding along the beach, going down a trail, or marching in a parade. Banjo is a unique, super light palomino color, with a perfectly symmetrical blaze, one tall hind stocking, and maybe white socks, but it's hard to tell. He has a cute little quarter horse head like his mom, the fairytale mane and feathers like his dad, and the strong hindquarters and correctness of them both! I think he would excel in trail competitions as well as classical and western dressage,(like his mom,) but I see endless possibilities for his future! I would expect Banjo to mature in the range of 14.2-15 hands, and will be stocky, but athletic. His dam was bred for reining and is kind and reliable; she was lovely companion that I could confidently take anywhere with me before she retired to become a broodmare. Banjo is definitely ready and willing to be that horse for you! Please feel free to text or call me, and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
