Cute Mustang pony that has been started. Wtc, small jumps, learning trails, driven, ties, loads and is easy in a group. “Shelby” was adopted for my daughter as a jumping pony but unfortunately my daughter has grown a lot over the last year so we need to find her a new home. She had a lovely start by a very qualified cowboy who drove her as well. We have ridden her over small jumps, inside and outside as well as trails around the property. As far as riding she can get a bit quick in the trot and canter but doesn’t run away. If she’s had a month or more off she can be a little humpy when you first get on but if in consistent work that goes away. She isn’t spooky or over reactive, and is a very smart inquisitive mare. She really wants to please. On the ground she is sweet and well mannered. It does take her a few minutes to warm up to a new person, she prefers women however will easily warm up to men with a treat. She stands for the farrier, vet, will tie most anywhere. She is barefoot and has fantastic feet! Little Shelby lives out in a mixed herd with another pony, miniature horse, Shagya Arabian, Azteca and a Warmblood. She is generally middle of the pecking order, not mean at all put not a total pushover either. She will call once or twice to her friends when you bring her in to ride but doesn’t scream incessantly. Shelby is up to date on vaccines, teeth and farrier. She is really game for anything, she has seen cattle and worked around them. She isn’t spooky and I believe you could turn this pony into a trail horse, barrel horse, dressage or jumper. She has quite a bit of talent and just needs her person.
