Amaya is a joy to be around. Affectionate, beautiful, clever, and spirited, she has many great characteristics of both her sire and dam. She's bright, curious, and really loves people. She's been lightly handled and allowed to grow on full pasture, and has never needed grain to keep beautifully.
She would make a fantastic performance horse in a number of fields, and could excel at being a broodmare as well. Her dam is extremely sweet tempered and very baroque in build; Amaya is a mix of that and the more modern build of her chestnut sire, Leon. Her color genetics have not been tested yet, but she may well carry the chestnut gene.
She is eligible for ANCCE and IALHA registration.
