Benny was on the track as a youngster and has an unflappable personality as a result. This is a great trail horse, forward moving, willing, confident, and comfortable. He loads, stalls, hauls, bathes, stands for farrier, ties etc.etc with no bad habits. Easy on fences and gets along with the geldings, the mares, and the babies. He is not herd bound when he is ridden etc. but will call out to the mares if they leave the pasture. Benny has been ridden by my 11-13 year old daughter who just adores him - he is GREAT with her but he is NOT a dead head. For this reason I would suggest an experienced rider but could be a great match for an experienced youth as well. Benny was a barrel horse and did incur an injury - while off, my daughter took on a new horse and now there is no room for Benny in the trailer - he is just getting ridden to keep in shape but he deserves to be someones go to. Benny will be a great trail horse, drill team, 4h horse etc....He broke and easy to ride.
