Waylon is a 4-year-old, 15.3h chestnut gelding with one of the sweetest, most levelheaded minds you’ll find in a young horse. He’s kind, safe, and genuinely easy to be around. No bite, no kick. Ties to the trailer, stands nicely to tack, and loads and unloads like a gentleman. He’s easy to catch, happy in a stall or turnout, and has been hauled off property with zero drama he could care less where you take him. He’s solid on the trail, will go out alone or in a group, and has handled road riding, traffic, and dogs like a total champ. Under saddle, he walk/trot/canters both ways, steers well for his age, and has already done cones, poles, and even had a rope swung off him. I’ve personally put 30 days on him, and he’s hands down one of the most naturally quiet and willing geldings I’ve worked with. He’s still green, but if you’re looking for your first horse to bring along, this is the kind you want he’s smart, sweet, and wants to do right. With more weight and muscle, he’s only going to get better. Waylon’s the kind of horse you can truly make into anything.
