Gata is a beautiful 14.1-hand grulla mustang mare with smooth natural gaits and plenty of potential. At approximately 6 years old, she’s had about 6 months under saddle but already showing herself to be a fun and willing partner. With the right rider, she’ll make a wonderful trail companion.

Last year, Gata sustained an injury to the superficial tendon in her left hind leg. She’s made a full recovery and is sound, though she does best with supportive boots. For that reason, she’s not a candidate for high-impact disciplines like gaming, but she’s an excellent prospect for trail and pleasure riding. She is UTD on vaccines, teeth, and farrier (barefoot). Gata trailers, stands for bathing/vet/farrier, and keeps a tidy stall. PPEs welcome at buyer’s expense.

No buck, rear, or vices. Not spooky. Smart, sensitive, and eager to learn, Gata will thrive with an intermediate rider who can continue her training and bring out her best. She’s the kind of horse who bonds deeply and deserves to be the center of someone’s world.
