Meet Gypsy, a gorgeous 2-year-old blue roan Sabino Kentucky Mountain/Walking Horse cross who is proving herself to be a truly exceptional young trail horse. Gypsy is predicted to reach a height of 14.2 with a stocky build she is registerable with the Kentucky Mountain Association and the Spotted Saddle Horse Association. Despite her age, Gypsy handles the trail with the confidence of an experienced trail horse whether its Water crossings, rocky terrain, fallen logs, or thick brush—nothing seems to phase her. From the first time under saddle, she has been calm, level-headed, and reliable, the same horse each ride. There’s been no buck, rear, or silliness—just a steady, willing attitude whether she’s riding alone or in a group. Gypsy is a sweetheart on the ground always looking for scratches. She’s often the one of the first to greet you in the pasture; she’s quiet and respectful—never dominant—and gets along well with all horses. Even when she’s in heat, you’d never know it; she remains calm and consistent in her behavior. She picks up all four feet and is good for the farrier, she currently has shoes all around, and is current on Coggins, rabies and vaccines. Gypsy is a dream to travel with, she loads easily and travels quietly. On weekend rides she highlines like a pro and stands patiently to be saddled, mounted, or dismounted—tied or ground tied. On the trail, Gypsy leaves camp ready for the day, packing saddle bags and rain gear like it’s second nature. She’s just looking for her next person to love on and trail with. Contact me to visit her or best offer I have to leave for college and can't keep her. But she will make someone an exceptional horse.
