Pedro De Fuego is his registered name but goes by “Chico”. Born in 2006 (19yrs old), in captivity by Karisma Kigers/Jillian McIntosh in Oregon. Registered with the Kiger Horse Association & Registry. The Kiger mustang is a strain of mustang horse located in the southeastern part of the U.S. state of Oregon. The Kiger Mustang was developed in the late 1970s. It was created under the BLM wild horse program. The genetic connection to Spanish horses that were brought to the Americas in the 17th century by Spanish explorers. Chico is smart, sweet and calm in your pocket with manners! Learns quickly and doesn’t forget. He has the traditional buckskin zebra dun factor markings. Zebra stripes on knees and hocks, dark color around the muzzle, and fawn in ears, black outline on ears. Multi-colored thick mane and tail. He is a compact, short back well-muscled horse (when conditioned). Agile and intelligent, with stamina and sure-footedness. Great black hooves and barefoot trimmed. 14.2 hands. Doesn’t spook easily and exposed to wild turkeys, deer and elk. Stands his ground and doesn’t take off running. Green broke but has not been ridden since 2018 when I had 30 days put on him. Unfortunately, due to my shoulder injury and other health issues I never rode him, so he will need a tune up as reflected in the price. Clips, fly sprays, wears a fly face mask. No buck, bite or kick. Meets you at the gate and follows you wanting attention. Gets along well with other horses. No known health issues. Does not care for step up trailers, so can be hard to load. Pictures available upon request. To the perfect home only
