Vervain is a friendly and personable colt who shows a high degree of athleticism. He is built very correctly with nice straight legs. He is expected to mature over 16hh.

I would expect him to excel at dressage, working equitation or he shows aptitude for jumping as well.

His dam, Sequoia a grade thoroughbred, has dabbled in a bit of everything showing great versatility. She has a high level of trainability and athleticism spending most of her years in the low level jumper ring, but had scope to 5 foot in free jumping.

His sire is Xihao AR a lusitano stallion from the Alter Real stud in Portugal. Xihao was competing at the highest level of dressage and slated to go to the Olympics in his younger years. Now he is a schoolmaster with his current owner and gives the occasional lessons. He is gentle and easy to handle in all situations while still exhibiting the athleticism and ability that lusitanos are known for.

This pairing is exciting and his full brother shows all the best qualities from both parents. I expect Vervain to follow suite.
