Master Guy, affectionately known as “Guy,” is a 13-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding with a versatile background. Bred and raised in England, he gained valuable experience competing in fox hunting and eventing before being imported to the U.S. in 2019. Since then, Guy has successfully competed in dressage shows, schooled cross country, and has been jumping up to 1.15m.

He is currently schooling up to Third Level dressage. While he is more naturally inclined towards show jumping, he remains willing and puts forth a genuine effort in the dressage ring. Guy goes to fences with confidence, occasionally giving a playful look at new jumps, and would be best suited for a competent, confident amateur rider with feel.

Guy is also reliable on trails—both alone and in company—and has a sweet, goofy personality that makes him a true favorite in the barn. His current owner, heading into a demanding Master’s program, has made the difficult decision to find him a new home where he can continue to thrive and be enjoyed.
