Scooby (JC name LA Tower) is an 11 year-old bay thoroughbred gelding. This 17.3 hh gelding is a son of Hard Spun out of a Rainbow Quest mare. He was raced until the fall of 2022 when we purchased him.

We restarted him as a dressage horse. He is currently schooling First Level and has begun training some Second Level movements. He has successfully attended several local schooling shows in Abilene. In May, he showed Intro level with scores in the 70s, after being off for 6 weeks with a hoof abscess.

Scooby is honest to the cues, but he is not a beginner horse as he can get cheeky if not ridden at least once a week. In regular work, he is as good as gold. We've taught beginner and intermediate lessons on him, and he is patient and willing during lessons. He loves to go out bareback in the back field and can ride out with a buddy or alone.

He loads and travels like a dream with a buddy or by himself. He clips and bathes well. UTD on shots and deworming with a current Coggins. Currently has front shoes, but was barefoot all winter.

Doesn't have a perfect PPE and very happy to disclose details to serious parties.

We love this big guy, but we truly need to downsize.
