Scarlett is that special, SWEET and SAFE pony that rides and drives! The perfect beginner pony. I think there is something special and patient about driving ponies. She loves to trail ride and crosses narrow bridges. She has done Pony Club and Opening Day Fox Hunting. She's the same pony wherever she goes. She's a super cute mover and a great little jumper. Way more woah than go. No bite, buck or kick! Even hesitant to take a treat with a soft mouth. She loves to get her head scratched and ears rubbed. She stands perfectly for the farrier with my 9 yr old daughter who also loads her onto the trailer. She's an easy keeper and barefoot! In her previous life, she was on a cattle ranch. I think they were a little rough with her, so she has had to gain our trust, which she quickly did. She thinks clippers, bug spray and baths are terrifying. On the trail, she won't ride away with a rider even if she is left behind. She'll just trot along until she catches up. She responds to clicking and neck reins from her previous life, so she could do English or Western. Children drive her in our antique Governor's cart. The very loud metal wheels do not even bother her, where we have had other ponies run away with it. We had her tested for cushings in June and it came back negative. Sadly, my daughter has outgrown her and so she needs to find a new home. A good home is a must!
