Rory is that diamond in the rough you’ve been looking for. She has all the correct fundamentals and can be developed any direction you are looking to go. Simple enough for an advanced rider to bring along and learn how to develop a TB
Rory is the horse crazy girls dream horse. Athletic bay mare that is up for anything.
She’s jumps, she knows basic dressage, she goes western, she goes bareback. You can ride her everyday and she just keeps getting better. You can ride her once a month and she stays the same. Rory’s staying the same is pretty wonderful! Light in the bridle, respectful of the leg , all of her training has been very correct. She’s always game for the jumps and tries. Her scope hasn’t been tested yet, it’s all been easy. She has done grids and placement poles to help with technique and balance, and really develop her to correct way. Unfortunately consistency has been the struggle. Rory took a back seat to life. She’s been trailered, ridden in new arenas and while a little more nervous, she is the same horse. Rory has gone out on trails and is sure footed, and well behaved. Unless kids come screaming out from behind trees then she’ll levitate you safely away from hellion acts. She can be trained to get used to it, as dogs barking, kids running, screaming, play jeeps going don’t phase her in the arena.
