Pumpkin is a 6-year-old, 13.1 hand POA gelding with a heart of gold and a steady, gentle soul. He’s been our daughter’s first pony, teaching her the ropes from walk/trot/canter to popping over cross rails and confidently hitting the trails. As she’s moved on in her riding, it’s time for Pumpkin to find another child to love.
Pumpkin shines as a teacher and partner — he’s sensitive to the aids, great on the lunge line, and happy to do ring work or head out on adventures. He’s bombproof on trails: herds of deer, loud trucks, water crossings, logs, ditches — nothing shakes his calm demeanor. He’s the same pony on and off property and happy to hack out alone or in a group. This pony truly builds confidence.

Due to a history before he came to us, Pumpkin is uncomfortable with having his ears handled.
We love this pony deeply and want only the very best for his next chapter. He will make a great kid's pony, trail pony or addition to a lesson program. He deserves a child or family who will love him just as much as we do.
