Video: “Charity” 2011 APHA Mare https://youtu.be/j_qgXPuPngk This beautiful tobiano mare has been a youth horse for trail, drill team, light cattle work, and some local shows for the last year and half. Born and bred in Texas, she has traveled extensively as a trail horse and was a reliable mount for an older gentleman for several years prior to our ownership. Charity loads great, travels like a champ, and settles in quickly in new environments. She went to a few small shows and competed in some walk trot youth classes and did very well. She is gentle with novice riders and could be a great "husband horse". Safe for the whole family! We learned this year that Charity carries the PSSM1 gene. We’ve found that as long as we supplement her with Vitamin E, she’s perfectly fine for our activities (as noted in the video). However, because she is a carrier, she should not be bred and she may not be suited to extreme physical work. Up to date on vaccines and had a dental in August. I excellent feet. We expect to have quite a bit of interest in this horse. Interested parties should be prepared to provide references.
