🩷 Piper 🩷 Everyone, meet Piper! This is an honest post. Piper is a Grade Bay Tobiano Mare, and if I had to estimate, she stands around 16.0hh. Piper scoots around barefoot without any issues, as far as we can tell.. Here’s some additional information about Piper. Piper was meant to be a kids horse, but she has too much energy; she loves to run and seems to have been trained for barrel racing. She is an incredibly sweet horse who aims to please, but her enthusiasm for running is what’s stuck in her. She is respectful when you tell her no, though she can get Giggy . Piper is 16 years old and still in her prime. She would be best suited for an advanced rider or a confident intermediate with a trainer. She means no harm, but this girl prefers to clock good times on a barrel pattern rather than just walking and trotting around with a child. Piper’s current owner hasn’t had her for long, and it’s already a tough decision to sell her and Her daughter have fallen in love with this mare, and I’m developing a soft spot for her as well, but it’s just not the right fit they were looking for. Therefore, here are some details about Ms. Piper. Pros about Piper: Piper appears to be trained for barrel racing; she has fantastic turns and is one of the coolest horses I’ve ridden. She stands well for the farrier, loves attention and treats, and is a good girl who stands at the trailer and enjoys being brushed and tacked up. She also stands calmly for baths. This horse has never attempted to buck during the few times I have ridden her. I’ve run her and tested her buttons, and she handled them like a champ without protesting my requests. Cons: Piper is a very spirited mare, and with that spirit comes a bit of attitude. She can be pushy on the ground, but it doesn’t take much to remind her that it’s not acceptable. She can get a bit frisky in new environments but gets over it quickly piper does prefer to have a buddy when trailering.
