He is out of my magnificent mare an own daughter of PEPPYS CHIC OLENA & his SIRE is a gorgeous blue roan that is from a line of working cow horses that go back to beginning of record keeping 96% which are blue roan too. His dam has worked large cow calf operation until we moved to Florida where she has retired and produced 2 outstanding foals. She has the best personality in any mare I’ve had the privilege to live with, she’s stout as bull with incredible athleticism and she’s ALL HEART! Her son has the same personality and disposition.His sire is a young stallion in training on the ranch and he excels in a variety of ranch tasks he has an incredible mind and temperament. This colt is going to be tall and wide, he already stands nearly 15 hands. He has been raised with other horses and knows his place. He will come in the house if you allow him, he is a BIG puppy! He has been handled daily since birth. He is so good with the farrier he used the sander on his hooves to put the show foot on him & he doesn’t mind at all. I also use my cordless clippers on him and he thinks that he’s getting a massage! He has the sweetest, kindest temperament of any yearling I’ve seen. He was born bay and turned blue roan - I have not color tested him but will for serious buyer if needed. He is a beautiful big boy that has a working cow horses long ground covering stride & is going to be super comfortable to ride. He knows baby etiquette, loves his stall & loves playing with his best buddy Johnny Ringo, Brisket the Miniature Bull & Lucky & Snow Hawk the tiny miniature horses. He loves cats, dogs & chickens as well.
He will make an outstanding mount in or out of the show ring but I would love to see him in a show home. He has had the best of care since he was conceived.
Personal note:
I had not intended on letting him go but have had 4 back procedures in the last year & I want him to have every chance in the world to be the great boy I know he will! With his temperament, conformation, look’s and pedigree he may be stallion material.
