Cassie is an 18yr old 17h Percheron mare looking for a new home. She would be an EXCELLENT fit for therapy or your non-horsey husband that needs something big and safe. I’ve known this mare for quite a long time, and she’s probably one of the nicest and easiest full drafts I’ve ever had. You can ride her every day or once a year and she is the same no matter what.

She picks up her feet without ANY issues and she’s great for the vet. Stands to be groomed, tacked and mounted. She is not spooky whatsoever and is happy to live out 24/7. Before anyone asks, she is NOT pregnant, but she was a broodmare in her past life and that belly is just here to stay!

Even though it’s been a while, Cassie still takes her mom roll pretty seriously. She does not care if your stupid gelding is acting like a fool on the trail or if bikers and deer come up behind her. She tries VERY hard to make sure her rider is safe at all times. She will also put herself between kids and other horses in the field if she feels they need security.
