Fiero is a very flashy and cute gelding that LOVES to be involved in ANYTHING you're doing even if it requires hard work. He's ready to go and ready to be a part of everything with a happy go lucky type of attitude. He is mellow, friendly, personable, and affectionate. Not much bothers this guy and he is always looking for someone to harass into giving him attention. If you're looking for a gelding that is in your pocket, a lover, and willing to do whatever you ask, this is your guy! Fiero has had a ton of hands on since a foal, he is more "developed" around people and has had more training than most horses at his age, this is just due to having only two foals born in his foal crop and we wanted to make sure he had more than a good start to his future.
Unfortunately, we don't believe Fiero has what it takes to become an Endurance mount, but we do believe he would be wonderful for Trail, 4H, all around, and eventually a family/youth/kid friendly horse.
Ideally, Fiero's new owner would be at least an intermediate rider, preferably one with a trainer to continue adding miles & experience. That is looking for an in your pocket, affectionate, horse that actually loves to be worked with.
Fiero's FAVORITE thing is to be with his people doing whatever they ask of him!
Training:
Age-appropriate handling & training since a foal.
Has had age-appropriate groundwork & desensitization since a yearling.
30-Day Saddle Preparation & Ponying on trail rides Started: 04/30/2025
30-Day Saddle Training Started: 09/01/2025
60-Days Under Saddle Training Started: 10/01/2025
90-Days Under Saddle Training Started: 11/06/2025
Natural Horsemanship & Positive Reinforcement training.
Fiero has completed 60 days of professional training and is currently still in training for his 90 days of training. He can be purchased now with the opportunity to continue his training until his 90 days are finished on 12/01/2025.
Rider Level Needed:
Intermediate rider, preferably working with a trainer, or an advanced rider.
Not yet a “husband horse” or beginner friendly horse but has potential with miles & experience.
Just needs miles & experience.
