Sir Shaggy Introducing “Sir Shaggy” My Wildest Dream After Midnight An 11 y/o Gypsy Cob gelding. Standing with a commanding presence at 15’3 and built like a tank. He will stun you by his natural elegant beauty. Sir Shaggy comes in one big package with everything you’ll ever need for just about a perfect equine partner. Confidently exhibits his amazing versatility with ease and welcomes new missions and challenges all while under a very calm demeanor. I’ve raised, trained and loved this horse since he was shipped to us as a youngster of 9 mo. old, from the west coast in California where his excellent breeding began. He is doubled registered with GVHS and GHRA. Sired by none other than the famous stallion, St.Clarins of Cielo Celeste Farms and out of the beautiful mare, Clononeen Dark Temptation. During his 11 years he only knows of a kind soft hand while residing in a loving peaceful environment. He has received all age appropriate levels of training, resulting in a horse who is safe, strong, sound, trustworthy, healthy, gentle but, a powerful companion who will protect, prove and provide all your expectations of choice. He is quite capable in a natural setting of low jumps. I’m not a jumper but, he has successfully demonstrated very well just not often. He excels and enjoys the english pleasure discipline whether it’s peacefully hacking out alone on open fields or trails in the woods w others. He proves to comfortably take lead or as the caboose, participating in local horsey events, show rings, toting kids around, gallantly obliged as trail ambassador for new green horses, enjoyed hunter paces, and would gladly welcome new challenges with kindness and patience. He trailer loads beautifully in slant loads. The straight loads takes a little coaxing but, he won’t waste too much of your time. He stands for his farrier well, he prefers front shoes. Boot size, 7x7 inches. Bit size, 6 1/2, Blanket size, 84 but, rarely needs blanketing as he grows a nice fury winter coat. He stalls well when necessary but, prefers to be out. He’s not completely comfortable in the summer months as he benefits with summer allergy meds. and big fans! Lol! Easy keeper in winter and with a slight weight gain in non riding hot months and is fed a low sugar diet w grain such as TC 30. Dac oil is supplemented as he has never had a colicky situation or ever ever any medical incidences. Now the special stuff! Gypsy cobs require the fun grooming as he has a tail longer and fuller than I’ve ever seen on a horse, nice white (3) feather and his mane I keep short. He’s use to the long spa sessions and stands very well for this as he does for tacking and mounting and dismounting. Ground manners are good to fair it’s up to you as he’s a big boy and will take up your space if you allow. Be mindful of his size and feet! You will enjoy showing this boy off as he gets a lot of attention!! I kindly ask, all inquiri
