This one is truly difficult to write 💔. I never imagined selling Cici, because she’s become such a fun and important part of my program and my life. Unfortunately, I currently have another horse in the hospital at CSU who needs my complete care and attention, and after a lot of thought, I know I can’t give both horses what they deserve. For that reason only, Cici is available to the perfect home.
✨ About Cici
Cici is an 8-year-old, 14.1h AQHA mare. She was originally started in English, but it became clear early on that jumping wasn’t her calling. Since coming to me, she has been restarted and has blossomed into a versatile, talented, and truly fun partner.
She goes beautifully in both English and Western tack. She has enough style and movement to be a very cute dressage pony, but she also has the speed, grit, and competitive edge to make an excellent barrel prospect. What makes her really stand out is that she’s an amazing all-around horse — she can do a little bit of everything, and she enjoys it.
🐴 Training & Abilities
• Walk, trot, canter both directions under English & Western tack
• Brave and forward-thinking, but not hot or silly
• Started lightly on the barrel pattern and LOVES it ⚡
• Has the gaits and mind to cross over into lower-level dressage
• Willing on the trail, fun to ride outside the arena
• No Jumping — it’s not her thing and I don’t want her pushed that way
Cici has the right foundation, the right attitude, and the potential to go in several different directions depending on what her new person wants.
💫 Personality
Cici is the kind of horse you look forward to riding. She is brave, curious, and intelligent. She tries hard to please and is the type of mare that wants to figure things out. She’s bold and not easily rattled, but also personable on the ground. She’s the kind you can spend time with in the barn and really feel connected to.
I truly believe she would be a great fit for someone who wants a partner to grow with — whether that’s an ambitious youth rider with guidance, or an adult amateur looking for something versatile, fun, and rewarding.

❤️ A Personal Note
Cici is not for sale because she lacks talent or potential. She has plenty of both. She’s not for sale because she’s difficult — she is an absolute blast to ride. The only reason she is available is because my other horse is in the hospital and I need to put every bit of energy into his care right now.
I am very selective about where she goes. This mare deserves a partner who will enjoy her just as much as I have, and I will only let her go to the best possible home.
