“Callie” is a mare who has a background in reining and the games world and is well suited as a trail mount. She has a motor so perhaps a rider with some skills would be her best match. Solid citizen and easy to handle, crossties or not, she’ll stand there with you as long as you’d like for grooming or long talks. Great feet, no need for a bunch of shoes in this girl’s closet. UTD on everything, she’s a class act with the vet, farrier, trailering, and in the pool hall (who does that??). She’s a stout girl ( her owner is 5’7”) who takes up the leg. Callie doesn’t really care what type of tack she is ridden in (English, western, or bareback) as long as it fits. A good home and match is a must, she has a home here and is currently being ridden twice a week as well as giving walk lessons with a beginner rider. Her owner is looking for a new speed horse to compete with and unfortunately does not have time to work with 2 horses or she would be staying here.
