Meet Rosé- A Beautiful APSL Lusitano mare available for a new home! Rosé is a APSL revised Lusitano mare, coming 5 year old, standing at 16.2 hands. Imported from Denmark as a yearling, Rosé boasts a rich heritage rooted in the prestigious Lusitano breed, with bloodlines including Andrade on her sire’s side and Viega on her dam’s side. Her dam hails from the esteemed Telles family, known for their long-standing and competitive bullfighting farm heritage. Her sire is used in both dressage and hunter jumper. This mare has different blood lines not found here in the USA so she will be a great addition to a breeding program and add versatility and size. Her registration with USLA and APSL (Lusitano breed registry-revision) is complete. She is also registered with FEI. Her handling experience is comprehensive; she trailers, ties, cross-ties, bathes, trims/shoed, ground drives, and works confidently in the round pen and on the lunge line. Started under saddle summer/fall 2025, Rosé took to riding with remarkable ease, showing no fear and quickly adapting to new exercises. We took her out on her first long trail ride and a parade after the ride, which she had no issues with either and was so fun to ride! Screaming kids, sirens, flashing lights, candy being thrown all around her and she walked on and did not spook at all. Rose is the perfect kind of sensitive- she responds well to cues on the ground or in the saddle. She has a strong desire to understand what she is being taught. She is being introduced to obstacles and is already crossing the bridge and lining up to the gate. When she does get worried or scared, she tends to stop and stare and look for reassurance. She is currently working on foundational riding and basic maneuvers at the w/t and just starting into the canter. With her incredible range of movement, a steady temperament and high trainability, Rosé has the potential to excel in dressage, working equitation or keep her for your breeding program. https://youtu.be/TDlvKXKYsXI https://youtu.be/XYoYcXkjmYA
