Only When in Roan (Blues) will steal your heart! I don’t think you could find a sweeter, more honest mare on this planet and she’s drop dead gorgeous to boot! A treasured homebred, I’m constantly in awe of her heart and talent. Slowly brought along, she had groundwork at 3 and was very lightly backed at 4 with just a handful of rides. At 5 she started going out on trail rides, jumping small x-rails and did a few local shows. Now at 6, she’s done a bit of everything, from hunters, cross-country, dressage, bareback rides, trails and swimming! Super ammy and kid friendly, she's so safe, fun and easy to show! More woah than go. Happily rides on the buckle in all gaits! Eligible green, she’s shown locally up to 2’6” with scope for more! She doesn’t need any prep at shows, she knows her job and loves it! Very point and shoot to jumps, she doesn’t bat an eye at anything and jumps 100% of the time even if you come in short/long or drop her right in front of the fence. Easy WTC and easy, auto changes. Smooth canter you could ride all day long! On the flat she always gets her leads, knows how to leg yield, side pass, turn on the forehand and haunches, back and shoulder in. Fun to hack out and trail ride, she's happy to lead or follow, goes through water, over bridges, logs etc without hesitation. Keeps plenty of distance from the horse in front of her and doesn't mind if horses ride along side her or run into her. Lower end of the pecking order, she comes when she’s called and loves both food and attention! Not spooky or marish, she’s super calm and easy going. Doesn’t flinch or care when you smack her to kill a horsefly, loves fly spray, great with bathing, vacuuming, vet and farrier. Very easy to load and haul and excellent in new places. No vices or bad habits. No buck/rear/bite/kick/bolt etc. Double registered Friesian and Welsh with a lifetime USEF registration. Up to date on everything including dental. No maintenance, barefoot, clean legs, never off or lame, easy keeper and has never foundered. I've owned her since birth and she's just as easy as they get! Super hard to let her go but I need to get the next ones going. Amazing home is a must for this incredibly sweet, gorgeous, talented girl!
