Flash That Badge - “Flash” is an eye catching 2017 AQHA/APHA/PHBA palomino gelding. Flash has a lot of personality and is always one of the barn favorites. He stands 15H and is a fun, easy going gelding to ride. I bred and raised this gelding, and he has always had a calm personality and takes everything in stride.
He has primarily been used as a 4H and ranch riding show horse. He has been shown by a youth and amateur. He has won multiple buckles, hi-points, reserve hi-points, championships, and reserve championships. He has APHA PAC and regular points. Besides showing in ranch riding classes, he has worked cows, been roped off, trail ridden, and shown in other performance classes (i.e. English pleasure, western pleasure, showmanship). He is used to riding on trails with wildlife, bicyclists, loose dogs, ATVs, and motorcycles. He rides out in a group or on his own. He is used to being around cows and is great with dogs. He has a lovely jog, a stunning extended trot, and a flying lead change.
He is super easy to handle, including bathing, clipping, and saddling. He loads and unloads perfectly from the trailer and rides great in the trailer. He easily settles and adjusts to new places. He requires zero maintenance, though he occasionally receives bodywork, chiropractic, and/or massages. He does not need to be lunged prior to riding and does not need to be ridden 6 days a week. Flash is a grab and have fun at your leisure type of guy!
He’s the kind of horse that stays quiet and level-headed but still has the handle to get a job done when asked. Flash loves people and is always one of the first to greet you. He has a huge heart and always wants to please. With his solid foundation and steady mind, he’d make a great partner for anyone!
