Warrior is a kind, trustworthy gelding with excellent ground manners and a calm, steady way of going. He’s more “woah than go” and prefers a relaxed pace, usually choosing the back of the group when heading out, but he’ll lead willingly on the way home. He rides out alone, crosses water without hesitation, and doesn’t mind different positions in a group. He doesn’t love strange horses right on his tail, but has never offered to kick under saddle and regularly ponies younger horses. Under saddle, Warrior is quiet, sure-footed, has a solid stop, and has never bucked. He isn’t fancy in the arena but knows his basics and will walk, trot, and canter willingly. Time off doesn’t change him — he’s the same dependable horse every ride. He truly is a beginner’s dream: patient, forgiving, and confidence-building. Warrior’s hock joints are in the process of fusing — which sounds concerning, but it’s actually a positive long-term outcome that often leads to improved comfort and soundness. His stifles were x-rayed and are clean. Light, regular riding and movement have been encouraged. He stands quietly for the farrier and handles well in every way. He’s the kind of gelding that takes care of his rider — perfect for someone’s first horse, an older rider wanting something safe, or anyone who values a calm, well-broke partner. Like an older but reliable vehicle, he may need regular maintenance, but he’ll always get you home safely. If you’re interested or have questions, feel free to call or text Bailey Stevenson (I’ve listed Warrior on behalf of his owner). I’d be happy to get you in contact with his Owner Taylor or answer any questions. 541-seven seven one-6208 Feel free to reach out to me or look Warrior up on "Groundwork Collective" to see more about him and see videos!
