✨ For Sale: 13-Year-Old beautifully Registered Red Roan Missouri Foxtrotter Gelding ✨ Born and raised right here in the PNW, this handsome 15.3/16hh gelding is the full package — fancy broke, smooth, and full of heart! He’s a trail machine who loves to get out and go, with a slow, smooth foxtrot and a beautiful, collected canter. Neck reins, responds to leg cues, rides soft in the bridle, and is sure-footed in any terrain. He’s low maintenance, an easy keeper, and an absolute gentleman on the ground — no buck, kick, or bite. This guy LOVES kids and has that classic, goofy, people-loving gelding personality that wins everyone over. Stands great for the farrier, bathes, clips, and loads like a pro. He does have one old injury (happy to discuss with serious inquiries — transparency is key). He’ll come with all X-rays for his new owner. He’s always been sound and ready to go to work or hit the trails. My trainer describes him as “overly desensitized,” which makes him a super steady mount. He definitely uses his thinking side of his brain! He’ll thrive best with a confident beginner or above who can appreciate his training and personality. He may test you now and then but is very willing and respectful with fair correction. We’ve realized we’re just a mare family — he’s our only gelding and would be happiest with another gelding buddy. We joke that he must say inappropriate things to the mares, because he just can’t figure out how to fit in with our girl gang! 😂 He truly deserves someone he can connect with, and we just haven’t been that for him.
