Pony Proudly offered for sale: Blue Moon, a truly special pony who has been a cherished part of our program for the past five years and is now sadly outgrown. Blue is as lovely to look at as he is to ride — a striking gray paint with bright blue eyes and a kind, charming personality that wins everyone over. Blue is the perfect “first real pony” for a young rider who has developed their balance and is ready for the next step. He has experience through Beginner Novice eventing and has easily schooled well above that — confidently jumping courses up to 3', though he’s happiest teaching in the cross-rails to 2'7" range. In the dressage arena, Blue shines with correct, elastic gaits and a soft, responsive feel in the bridle. He consistently earns scores in the 70s and always presents like a little professional. His 2024 season highlights include winning the Area IX Starter Championship, and he has been AEC-qualified nearly every year he has competed.

Blue is an absolute pleasure to have around. He’s easy to handle, tidy in his stall, and a classic easy keeper. He lives comfortably in a stall, trailers beautifully, and stands quietly for the vet and farrier. He's had maintenance appropriate for a seasoned Colorado eventer and has four shoes with front pads. Blue does require a little patience with oral meds but is otherwise wonderfully straightforward. He’s great on trails, crosses bridges and water confidently, stands for clippers, and will happily tie to the trailer all day long.
